The Columbus Foundation has awarded ITI (formerly Autistic Self-Reliance) $25,000 for the continued development of a Virtual Resource Navigator that supports neurodivergent transit users! We are grateful for the Columbus Foundation’s continued dedication to invest in autistic and neurodivergent wellbeing.
The Virtual Resource Navigator is part of ITI’s Mobility Autonomy Program, or MAP, which focuses on improving transit accessibility for neurodivergent people. Transit is a complex, multi-stakeholder issue that must include marginalized voices when thinking about solutions. In this phase of the project, we plan to bring autistic and neurodivergent transit users together to help design supportive tools for transit.
